Adult Bible Studies

Throughout the year, Pastor Micah will offer teaching classes/Bible Studies on a variety of topics. These classes are interactive studies, where we dive into God’s Word, praying that the Holy Spirit might reveal what He has to say to us through it. If you are interested in attending, let Pastor Micah know!

CURRENT CLASS: LUTHER’S SMALL/LARGE CATECHISM STUDY
- Join us for a deep dive on Luther’s Small and Large Catechisms. Each week, participants will work through parts of the catechisms, answer questions, and join for a large group discussion and study on Sunday mornings. This class starts September 20 before Church at 8:30 AM and goes 8-10 weeks

UPCOMING CLASS: THE AUGSBURG CONFESSION
- Did you know, as Lutherans, we say we agree with, not just the Catechisms, but the Augsburg Confession(AC)? The AC is a compilation of what Lutherans believe on 28 different topics, including God, sin, salvation, Sacraments, Civil Government, good works, and more. This class will start after the Catechisms class and will be another 8-10 weeks.

Women's Bible Study

Between September and May, the women of Hegland and Solem meet at Hawley Lutheran Church to study God's Word. This Bible Study meets every Thursday at 10 AM and is led by Sue Fitzpatrick.

Quilting

The women of Solem and Hegland meet year-round at Solem Lutheran Church on Tuesdays at 9 AM for quilting. This is a great time to get together with other women in the Church to chat and make quilts as part of our missions. These quilts are often donated to those in need and to charities that will benefit from having them.

Other Ways to Get Involved

Our Churches are constantly coming up with ideas and events throughout the year to get together in service to our community (Operation Christmas Child, Lutheran World Relief care kits, Missions Rummage Sale.
